課程概述

生命倫理學為倫理學之一支，向來屬於道德哲學及應用倫理學之範疇，然其近來廣納來自於法律學、心理學以致於其他社會科學領域之研究發現，更廣泛地研究與處理生命科學發展所衍生之種種倫理、法律、社會問題，且亦需面對處理生命科學及心智科學之可能倫理與法律意涵。本課程將與生命倫理學概論互相呼應，介紹與生命倫理學相關之後設倫理學與描述倫理學，以及更特定之規範生命倫理學之相關理論，包括：健康與正義理論、公共衛生倫理與法律、健康與人權等。本課期能結合教師與同學們在個案與時事之議題討論，協助同學們對於生命倫理學之基礎理論有更深刻的理論與實務之瞭解，提升同學們在研究、臨床與政策實務上分析與解決生命倫理與法律議題之能力。 

課程目標
 修課學生研習本課程後，對於以下主題有基本、充分之認識，能說明其基本內涵與應用：
後設倫理學，描述倫理學，道德心理學、正義理論、公共衛生倫理、健康與人權。
